Important!!!

  1. The samples are pretty big. Some are even more than 600 pixels wide.
  2. Your web browser is probably dithering the colors to view all effects at the same time. This reduces quality a lot!

The Effects

Directly go to a specific effect:

o Shake
Using this effect one can achieve the infamous "Nervous? Tense? Tired?" sign.
o FgPlasma
The text's foreground color becomes a window into an area filled with PlasmaClouds.
o Shadowed-Outline
This effect makes an outlined text and a shadow.
o 3D-Shadow
Instead of a simple shadow, this effect draws the text itself several times beneath the main line of text.
o Thick
Gives the text the feeling of "thickness" for each letter.
o PopArt
PopArt outlines the text several times, very thinly, with the outlines alternating between two colors.
o StandOut
Gives the letters of the text a look much like the push-buttons in Motif applications. It make the text "stand out" from the screen.
o Coin
Coin is the same as StandOut, only this time you get a rim on the edge of the letters, much like many coins have.
o Fade
Fade is much like "Thick", only that the thickness of the letters does a color gradient that fades from one color to another.
o Backlight
This effect when used properly can make the text seem as if it has some backlight. It draws thin outlines, generating a color gradient.
o FatText
This makes the letters seem somewhat fat, if used properly.
o FunnyOutline
You better look at the example...
o FgGrad
Same as "Shadow" only the foreground of the text does a color gradient from top to bottom.
o StandOut2
Very similar to "StandOut", only this is much thinner, and works in a way that rids you of the need to put spaces between the letters.
