Anniversary

Today is our anniversary. I can't believe it's been a year. It seems like just yesterday we met. I needed just one look to know that I was in love. Just one look convinced me that this was the one for me.

Just one year ago we were brought together. It's been a relationship that has weathered the good times and the bad, the happy and sad, the winter and the summer. Even though I continue to look at the greener grass and wonder if we will be together for anniversary two, I cherish the time we have had together. I am so lucky and grateful for all I have learned and experienced in this year of being united.

It's taken a lot to keep us together. A lot of time, devotion, understanding, and money. Yes, money, as much as we like to think these relationships can withstand financial obligations. Love like this doesn't come cheaply. Especially in this environment. Sure enough once a month like clockwork we weather through "that time of the month." We both know it's there. We both just ride it out knowing that if we don't we may not be able to see each other again.

No need to send cards or gifts. it's a quiet celebration. We're going to spend today enjoying this special day together. Just the two of us.

Me and #19. My home and me.

Webcam

You know it. You love it. You can't get enough of it. Yes, it's the infamous webcam!

Sweeney Todd
Read all about how I, and hundreds of others, got screwed out of tens of thousands of dollars by Doug Mayo.

Times have changed and so too has the design of this site. Journey back in time with me for some redesign fun!

Assassins
I have a healthy fascination with the phenomenon of events in relation to the musical Assassins.

What people are saying:

I'm really not sure of the appeal of Mark Bakalor's site, because frankly I suspect there is none, but hell, I check it at least thrice daily, and you should too!

"Your website is beautifully demented. The moving head thing in the top left just does it. I've been staring at it for the past minute and still find it amusing. You're an inspiration to us all."

- Gord
