Myths and Him is up with cast and show information. The show, one night only, goes up next Thursday. If you're in the Bay Area come and see it. Lemme know if you plan on coming... In other website news, Planet Weather is now live and more horribly designed than it was when I was still there just over a week ago. Gotta' love it! :) 3/31/2000 12:57:53 AM .:. | Discuss

Interesting. As much as they were so intent on not allowing their site to be open to the public, Planet Weather is apparently allowing people to enter by clicking on their home page "stickies" such as the one below...

By poking around the site, which I believe is supposed to open this week, finally (but we've heard that one before), you'll have a pretty good idea of how not to design your major commercial website. Have I told you yet how amazingly refreshing it is to not have to work in the weather business anymore? :) 3/29/2000 11:04:28 PM .:. | Discuss

Ugh! I'm sick! I woke up this morning with a sore throat, stuffy nose, and that oh-so-sick feeling. I'm hoping, and assuming, that this is one of those colds that will last just a few days. Dax's show opens in a week and I have a bunch of big projects and exciting happenings on the front burner that really need my full attention. So, it better be quick! In the meantime, buy stock in Kleenex! ;-) 3/29/2000 10:04:07 PM .:. | Discuss

Two days into Spring and I'm doing just fine, thank you. When you're riding the roller coaster I guess ya just have to be prepared for the highs and lows. "What's hard is simple, What's natural seems hard..." You know how to whistle, don't you? :) 3/22/2000 02:39:41 PM .:. | Discuss

It's the first day of Spring and it couldn't have come any sooner after the mostly less than enjoyable Winter I've just been through. I guess I can chalk it all up as a learning experience but I've done enough learning already, huh? I think I have the opposite of writer's block. At this moment I just have too much going on in my head and I can't figure out how to express it rationally. Everything else aside, I just want to be happy. I deserve it. So, Spring? You better be good to me... Now I get to go take out the garbage - a perfect ending to the begining of Spring. sigh 3/20/2000 10:59:52 PM .:. | Discuss

Thanks to my Fairy Blogmother for taking over the reigns for me while being Blocked. I am hoping that this malady is subsiding and that I'll be able to share my thoughts, experiences, and pangs of longing with you shortly. In addition, Ms. Callan certainly is dreamy. sigh :) 3/20/2000 01:27:11 PM .:. | Discuss

Dear readers, Mr. Bakalor is away due to BlogBlock(tm). What exactly is blog block and why is Mark afflicted with said condition? He is certainly leading an exciting life and has many things to talk about. He is selling record numbers of t-shirts and has great friends who also have exciting lives like James Marino and the delightful Ms. Callan (isn't she just a dreeEeeEeeaAAam!?!) Add to that the fact that this guy thinks Mark is soooOOoooo cute (sigh) and the fact that he has connections to high profile people going places. As if that's not enough, there is now a website and forum where folks can talk about Doug (a hole) Mayo . So, why is Mark blog blocked? This remains to be seen. Stay tuned. Love, Mark's Fairy Blogmother (sigh) 3/18/2000 11:31:50 AM .:. | Discuss

The past day or so has been quite the mix of emotions. At the root of one of the threads of emotions is that of Sweeney Todd and its producer, Doug Mayo. I think James said it best today:

SWEENEY TODD update: I hear that Doug Mayo is thinking of taking legal action against people who are speaking out against him. Come on Doug, bring on the lawyers! I have many people who have been lied to and not paid. Some of their names? Cariou, Kaye and Gaines, among many others!

Speaking of SWEENEY, Mark Bakalor, the producer of Sondheim.com, has opened up a Sondheim.com store to sell merchandise from the SWEENEY concert. Unlike the concert, this merchandise money will go to Crusaid.

Got time for a rhetorical question? How can you ask someone to trust you when you've done nothing but fail to keep past promises 100% of the time? Another phenomenon to chew on: X hires Y to produce work. X doesn't pay Y for said work. Now, X does not own the work produced. Y does. Moral of this story. Buy shirts from Y. Thanks, Dinah! You can pick up your signed 8x10 glossy anytime! 3/14/2000 11:25:51 PM .:. | Discuss

So, I'm now officially in the t-shirt business! Even better is the fact that all profits from the sale of Sweeney Todd tshirts will go directly to the intended charity of the recent concert production that you've heard me talk about so much recently. Please buy some t-shirts. Tell friends. They're superlicious! 3/12/2000 03:50:26 AM .:. | Discuss

I agree with Meg... BlogBlock is a problem. It's not that I haven't had anything to say. I just haven't had the urge to say it. I'm sure this affliction will pass shortly and I'll be back in full swing. A bunch of my Sweeney Todd London concert material has shown up on sale at ebay over the past few days. This comes at the same time as some very cool projects in the works at sondheim.com which will hopefully be unveiled over the next week. Prepare yourself! I have a good buddy who I know would love a verdict like this. How do you pronounce the word "working"? Werking? Warking? Bueller? Photoshop is your friend. How did it get to be here? I think this is really cool. I still haven't gotten around to watching enough of them. I've always wondered what that was called... Parents rock! Is this Mandy or Ed Grimley?
